Given the name “The Green Pineapple Shop,” we wanted to combine a hemp leaf with a pineapple. The challenge was to create a polished, professional logo that wouldn’t look overused or stereotypical. The final design features a simple pineapple with clean, geometric lines, and a hemp leaf replacing the usual leaves—this also works as a standalone icon. We chose a classic serif font to give a sense of professionalism and trust, and arranged the name vertically next to the pineapple.

Throughout the design process, I prioritized consideration of future use and potential modifications. Since the owner was beginning his venture, I aimed to deliver designs that could be easily updated independently as his business developed. Most collateral was created in Canva to facilitate sharing and editing.

This project was the first and only time I have used Square to design a website. I appreciated the opportunity and was able to create a clean, professional site with the products as the main focus. The primary challenge involved organizing a large number of products in a manner that made it easy for users to find what they were seeking. Some products did not include images, which gave me the opportunity to conduct a product photoshoot to generate suitable visuals for the website. Overall, it was a valuable experience, and I would welcome the opportunity to develop another Square website in the future. My only regret is not saving photos of the website to share!

Upon review, I observed some inconsistencies within the designs, and I would update them to better align with the brand guidelines. Additionally, I would place greater emphasis on documenting the design process and saving images of the final results for future reference and sharing.
